Associate Director of Estates

MMP Consultancy is seeking an Associate Director of Estates and Facilities on behalf of an NHS Trust based in Cambridgeshire.
The Associate Director of Estates and Facilities' key responsibilities for the role include:
- Contribute to ensuring that the Trust's corporate objectives are achieved with a specific focus on providing safe and secure premises and equipment.
- Be the focal point for delivering operational engineering & maintenance strategies and services and plant reliability across the Trust on behalf of the Director of Capital, Estates & Facilities Management.
- Responsible for designing and implementing engineering service structures and services to ensure compliance with NHS-specific guidance and statutory compliance.
- Responsible and accountable for the standard, delivery, continual monitoring, risk management and review of engineering services to ensure a professional, high-quality, cost-effective and efficient service to meet the demands of the organisation, its staffand patients
The Associate Director of Estates and Facilities must have the following experience or qualifications:
- Degree in Building Service Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Significant experience operating at the head of service/Associate Director level
- Highly developed technical / knowledge and appreciation of estates & facilities services
- Significant experience managing building project teams, developing design briefs, and service specifications, appointing and managing professional advisors and consultants at PM and lead level
