**Logistics Intake Operative (Multiple Roles), Reporting to Logistics Intake ShiftSupervisor**
**Primary functions**
- Organising incoming products andFUST returns
- Storage of incoming products inthe designated location
- Completion of associated paperwork
- Effective product handling toprevent damage throughout the picking process.
- Quality checking during pickingand communicate quality deviations with Manager supervisors or planners
- Awareness of deviations in stocklevels; overstocks and shortages and discuss with the Manager supervisors andplanners
- Order picking and recordingprepared stock for production and customers
- Discuss maintenance problems withthe relevant personnel
- Be expected where possible tocover extra shifts.
**Responsibilities**
- Some of the day-to-day tasks willinclude:

- Loading and unloading of trailers,containers and freight
- Picking the products in accordancewith the pick list/dispatch notes.
- Placing the picked products withthe required forms ready for further processing.
- Ensure the cooler is organized andhousekeeping standards are maintained as per the Company policy.
- Comply with the Company rules andregulations as detailed within the Company Handbook.
- The above accountabilities are notintended to be exhaustive and may alter without changing the overall characterof the job and the levels of responsibility. Additional tasks of a generic ordepartmental nature may also be assigned.
**Knowledge and skills**
**Essential skills**
- Forklift or electric wheelslicense
- Level English: communicative
- Computer level; basic
- Driving License
**Desirable skills**
- Experience with Vision or otherWMS Systems
Core Working Hours:
4 on 4 off, 18:00 06:00 with occasional additionalshifts as required in order to facilitate the needs of the business
Salary scale: £10.42, Overtimeafter 42.5 hours at 125%, Unsociable hours pay 00:00-06:00 at 15% &Contributory Pension Scheme
Annual leave: 19 Days incl bankholidays
