As a Buyer / Planner your responsibilities will include:

- Executing MRP (material requirements planning) schedules and supporting factory build plans, procuring raw material, components, tooling, and services enabling outstanding product delivery performance to global customers
- Generating, adjusting, and expediting purchase orders based on MRP alongside relevant information used to run business schedule adherence (S & OP etc)
- Monitoring and communicating quality and delivery performance to the supplier within the planning team, helping to resolve supplier related problems
- Adhering to the supplier qualification process for new supplier engagements and supplier change verification process for any changes in supply requirements
- Managing inventory purchases to achieve planned inventory turns
- Analysing and communicating supply chain performance and diagnose key improvement areas

We are keen to speak to anyone with the following skills or experience:

- Minimum of 2 years in a buying/ purchasing / supply chain role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- A Manufacturing background with MRP Experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP Systems
- Extremely organised, ability to prioritise workload.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to understand MRP and working knowledge of ERP systems
