Overview:
Are you dedicated to ensuring a high level of innovative care, love, and support to Children and Young people, and want to create 'home' in the true sense of the word?

**Duties**:

- Provide high-quality care and support to our Children and Young People.
- Implement behaviour management strategies effectively.
- Have a pro-active attitude for the delivery of fun and educational activities - spotting talents and interests, and helping Young People to develop aspiration, and ambition.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Offer compassionate and understanding care towards Children and Young People who have experienced trauma.
- Create home in every sense of the word for all our Young people.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in care or a related field (Such as schools and Youth Work) is essential.
- Proficient in behaviour management techniques.
- Ability to drive and possess a valid driver's license, and use of a car.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards Young People and Children in need
- Willingness to undertake activities, sport and everyday chores.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £11.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Physical Setting:

- Residential home

Shift:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Home care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
