**Tire Technician Job Description**

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Inspect tyres for wear and damage, providing recommendations for replacement or repair.
- Remove and install tyres on vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Balance wheels to ensure smooth operation and enhance vehicle performance.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tyre pressure and tread depth.
- Assist customers with tyre selection based on their vehicle needs and driving habits.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools are accounted for and in good condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling heavy lifting tasks associated with tyre installation and removal.

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to tyre servicing.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of vehicle systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling tyres.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
