Caretaker

A brand new state-of-the-art Fradley based residential home that offers over 90 en-suite bedrooms across a number of households is actively recruiting for a Caretaker / Handyperson.

You will have the opportunity to gain a contract based on 35 hours a week with an **Hourly pay rate of £10.18 per hour**

**The role as a caretaker in this luxurious property is to;**
- Carry out general repair and maintenance work
- Complete weekly/monthly health and safety checks
- DIY tasks such as painting and decorating and other odd jobs such as repairing shelves, doors etc
- Replacing internal and external lights and reporting any damage and repair needs
- Keep pathways, car parks and communal areas swept clean and free of litter and grit the areas in bad weather
- Ensure low level gutters and drains are clear
- Ensure bin areas are clean and tidy
- Maintain stock of products needed for the maintenance of the site.

**We are keen to speak with caretaker with the following attributes;**
- Experience in any general maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical background would be an advantage but not essential.
- Approachability: a willingness to help others, requiring patience, kindness and good communication
