Why join the team?

**Making a real impact**: The roles present a unique and rewarding opportunity to be part of one the most successful programmes the UK government has run and to be involved in making an impact on the future of England’s immunisation programme.

**Critical Impact of Supply Chain**: Supply Chain is a massive strategic priority for everyone, and the NHS is no exception. An efficient and resilient healthcare supply chain is essential to combatting rising costs and disruptions which impact the frontline and patient outcomes.

**Cross functional exposure**: This is an exciting opportunity to work in a national programme that’s truly cross functional with exposure to teams raging from clinical care and operations to communications, especially at this critical point when the government is investing heavily to ensure we have the capability to cope with similar viral airborne pandemics in the future.

**World class training**: Benefit from a structured onboarding that links you into the EECL team from Day 1. EECL is a highly technical team that works with a range of purpose-built systems. As a new joiner you will have access to a custom Digital Toolkit designed to provide the foundational knowledge required before stepping into your new role. The dynamic and interactive Toolkit gives an overview of all EECL’s teams’ responsibilities, through animation, text and system walkthroughs. It’s a resource designed for you to return to again and again as you grow your confidence in your role.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Ownership of the ordering team’s activities - ensuring that the team is successfully executing the ordering and fulfilment of vaccine and non-vaccine supply including managing risks and finding solutions (where required) that would impact ordering and delivery of vaccine and consumables to sites.
- Supporting team members on their tasks as and when required and team development
- Identifying, tracking, escalating and mitigating any risks that could impact team activities.
- Owning and generating regular KPIs and reports, feeding back to the wider programme and management.
- Liaising with other team leads to support any cross-function developments and being aware of their risks that may impact upon the ordering team.
- Drawing insights and trends from ordering performance, identifying areas for improvements and raising these with the relevant team (systems/process).
- Supporting the implementation of process and system developments with service teams.
- Managing stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
