Maintenance Scheduling Lead

Role Description
The Maintenance Scheduling lead is positioned within the Service Delivery department where they are responsible for scheduling maintenance activities to support the operation of PNB and ensuring that work is scheduled to deliver maximum efficiency and asset performance. The Maintenance Scheduler Lead shall liaise closely with respective Team Leaders is to ensure that adequate resources are available to complete these tasks. You will be required to identify and prioritize multiple tasks and perform work with a constant awareness and drive towards improving the maintenance scheduling processes, reporting metrics and tacking tools and the preparation of regular performance reports. The Maintenance Scheduler will support all policies, goals and objectives of the company, and will represent the company in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
Main Accountabilities:
- Preparation and implementation of the scheduled maintenance activities drawn from published asset maintenance plans.
- Identify opportunities to deliver increased efficiencies through consolidation of tasking based on type and / or geographical placement.
- Communicates with Maintenance Team Leaders to ensure purchasing and inventory of parts and spares are procured as necessary to complete scheduled maintenance.
- Looks to schedule activities associated with planned plant outages under the direction of Team Leaders to provide for maximum use of available resources and operational capability.
- Advise when a scheduled maintenance downtime needs to be rescheduled and communicate and coordinate the new plan.
- Remain alert to changing requirements and resources availability; provide forecasts for changes in maintenance workloads and report on expected and experienced results.
- Continually evolving all planning, forecasting and resource systems, with a strong focus on customer service levels, productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure work is scheduled to deliver maximum efficiency, whilst ensuring full compliance with all relevant statutory / regulatory obligations.
- Monitor maintenance delivery performance using an agreed set of metrics and prepare regular performance reports.
Key Experience:
- Have a high level of experience in, Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM)
- Experience / knowledge of maintenance strategies.
Experience of working within facilities management environment or large plant/systems environment gained the marine, manufacturing, utilities or petrochemical sectors would be beneficial.

Qualifications & Memberships:
You should hold:
- Educated to NVQ Level 3 standard (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline with several years’ experience of working within a facilities management environment.
- Hold security clearance or ability to obtain.
