Based in our Bracknell head office, the Events Marketing Specialist is responsible for marketing the Content Guru proposition to customers and prospects through a series of tradeshows, conferences, webinars, summits and closed-door executive events and roundtables.

**As an Events Marketing Specialist, your responsibilities will include**:
**Event Planning**
- Plan and manage a series of customer and prospect events to boost Content Guru’s thought-leader status and brand awareness in the Contact Centre market.
- Work with the Marketing Director to improve Content Guru’s events programme; new events for consideration, new event partners, and innovative ways to reach our target audiences to generate interest pre-and post-event.
- Support the maintenance and calendar of events for sales and wider-team visibility of upcoming activities.
- Manage all events to an agreed budget and negotiate contracts for lowest cost and highest exposure.

**Event Execution**
- Work with the team to deliver on the timely execution of pre-and post-event campaigns designed to generate interest around our offering, and ultimately result in active opportunities which will drive pipeline and closed revenue.
- Work to execute on all creative and logístical elements of events, working either with 3rd-party event organisers or as the organiser, so that event activities occur as planned and on time. Work with 3rd-party suppliers (beyond event organisers) to deliver all ancillary activities needed for an event.
- Work closely with our Business Development Team to support the Content Guru event calendar; to drive pre-event and post-event meeting and one-to-one demonstrations.
- Manage speakers, organisers, stand builders, suppliers, and delegates/attendees, and conduct post-event evaluations.
- Work closely with the wider marketing team to integrate the Events program into wider quarterly plans.
- Manage the post-event follow up with the Business Development Team and monitor and report the ROI of each event to assist in the decision making process for future events.
- Work with the wider marketing team to utilise their experience and assistance in terms of local execution where appropriate.

**Internal Support**
- Provide regular updates to marketing management on project/task progress, along with aggregate reporting on performance of events and subsequent engagement with leads.
- Support the sales department with full briefings on upcoming events and plans to drive attendance and meetings and demos booked.
- 2-5 years' experience of managing an Events program within a marketing function.
- A proven ability to motivate others.
- Confidence in communicating with multiple stakeholders.
- Good written and spoken communication, can showcase an ability to articulate technical concepts into straightforward language.
- Good presentation skills.
- Good attention to detail and organisation.
