An award winning Food maker that is working with all the top groceries and B2B direct suppliers. Made in the UK and all about sustainability these are people for the planet. They are a carbon neutral company and B Corp certified. Currently employing around35 people and turning over around £30 million.
Why would I want to work here
This is a new role due to growth. You will be working in a team of 2 people, who are able to support you with your development and progression. There is an option to work from home 3 days a week with no mandatory days in the office. Salary on offer is upto £35,000. The role comes with a performance bonus. Health care, life insurance at 4 x salary, dental cover, 25 days holiday plus your birthday off plus BH’s. Hours are 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday.
The essence of the role
Ensuring the supply chain process runs as smoothly as possible. Orders are placed and distribution centre is shipping stock to grocers on time.
The scope of the role
- Optimise the supply chain networks
- Manage Daily Supply Chain activities
- Dispatching orders, managing stock movement, ensuring on time delivery
- Assisting with sourcing and costing for NPD
- Forecasting production, working with sales team and analysing data
- Inventory managing, raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Re-ordering and purchasing
Prerequisites
- Experience working within the Food and drink industry
- Background working in a fast paced SME
- Excellent attention to detail
- Eager to learn, superb communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
