The company’s headquarters is in the UK with offices in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Singapore, China, South Africa, the Americas, Thailand, Dubai, India and Korea, with further office openings planned this year.

**Salary:
- Up to £35,000 plus discretionary bonus/s**
**The purpose of this role is**:
- To support the HR & Training Manager & Head of HR and Line Managers on HR system/administration, recruitment, payroll and advisory tasks and any other tasks that are deemed appropriate and within the capabilities of the HR Officer to enable a contribution to the best possible HR service globally.
**What you will do:

- To provide a responsive and at best, proactive HR administrative service in all areas of HR, according to local and global needs.
- To ensure all administrative work is accurate and signed off by the HR & Training Manager/Head of HR in Manager’s absence, as appropriate.
- To proactively suggest and implement improvements to current HR filing system and administrative documentation whilst ‘owning’ these functions.
- Support the ongoing development of the HR function as the business continues to grow.
- To have an understanding of the cultural differences in countries that impact on employment.
- To have an understanding of the differences in terms and conditions in the sites, later being able to advise on these.
- To develop an understanding of basic employment law in the different countries, with a view to advise on this.
- Support the recruitment and selection processes, ultimately owning the whole process.
- To provide a caring and supportive environment for employees to advise of concerns and escalate any issues as appropriate.
- To provide a confidential HR service at all times.
- To support training & development processes and procedures as appropriate.
- To provide administrative support for payroll activities, including for countries other than the UK.
- Understand Company policies and procedures, so can direct staff to these or relevant policy sections to queries and later to advise on these.
- To provide administrative and research support for reward (pay reviews and bonuses).
- To provide administrative and welcome arrangements, including the delivery of the induction for European and South Africa staff.
- Support company communications processes, drafting the staff news for approval.
- Complete projects as required.
- Meet agreed objectives.
- Note taker at HR meetings.
- Embrace higher level tasks as an opportunity to develop into this role as the Company grows, time permitting in role, especially HR office visits.
- Promote and act as a role model for the company’s core values and behaviours.
**What you will bring:
- **
- Experience working in an HR environment with a busy, demanding workload, where priorities can change.
- An HR qualification or working towards CIPD Level 5 or above.
- A good knowledge of UK Employment Law.
- General HR advisory experience in UK law.
- Online HR system experience (particularly if BambooHR).
- Start to finish Recruitment and Selection experience.
- Administrative/office based experience.

Due to the Company’s continual growth, the need for a further addition of an HR Officer to join the current 2-strong HR team has arisen. You will assist the Head of HR and HR & Training Manager, in providing a proactive and professional generalist global HR service to a current global workforce of 240, while contributing to the delivery of any assigned projects.
