About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate **Learning Support Assistant** to work in a specialised Key Stage 4 educational provision. This role focuses on supporting students who require additional assistance to overcome barriers to learning and achieve academic and personal success. This temporary full-time position offers the potential for a permanent role after 12 weeks, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support to students aged 14-16, helping them engage with a flexible curriculum that includes core GCSEs, Functional Skills, and personal development.
- Assist in creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that encourages academic and emotional growth.
- Work collaboratively with educators to deliver tailored interventions that address individual learning needs.
- Support behavior management and emotional well-being strategies to help students build confidence and resilience.

**Requirements**:
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly in education or alternative provision.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Registration with **The Youth Education Service** and completion of thorough interview and referencing checks.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
