Days & Nights - 12 Hour Shifts
Based Just outside of Bath my client are a design and manufacturer high profile products for high security organisations. A very bespoke industry who have recently gone thorough a very exciting acquisition which means huge expansion opportunities in the next6-12 months. Due to a promotion of an engineer they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join on a permanent basis.
Main roles and responsibilities:

- Investigate plant failures and carry out root cause analysis and problem solving techniques to provide permanent solutions to avoid repeats.
- To minimise the costs of maintaining equipment wherever possible.
- Liaise with process personnel on process improvements
- Assist in identifying engineering materials requirements.
- Carry out site installation of new equipment as well as modification of existing equipment and plant.
- Provide hands-on support to production and service facilities
- Assist Production department with movement of materials when necessary.
- You will be working on Heavy process equipment - Gears, Pumps, Motors
Due to the nature of the business you will need SC Clearance before you start with them, this will all be done in house for you.
We are looking for an engineer who has previous experience in manufacturing/production industry - ideally within a heavier industry, someone who has worked on Pumps, Motors and Gears before and any PLC knowledge would be a bonus for them.
They also offer training on Fork Lifts, Boilers and Confined Spaces.
Shift: 12 hour Days & Nights annualised shift - you are given the shift pattern 1 year in advance
The salary is £39,959
As well as having extended breaks in between your shift you will also be entitled to extra holiday on top.
