Morgan King have got pleasure of working with a cardboard packaging manufacturer, a leader in their field in the UK supplying major retail brands with their packaging.

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to add experienced Machine Operators to their team based at Wath-upon-Dearne site.

This is a temp to perm position offering excellent development opportunities.

The Company has got an ethos of looking after and investing in development of their employees and promoting within, with large of proportion of workforce with 10 years+ length of service (every single member of management team has started work on the shopfloor).

The role:

- Working as part of a small team preparing paper reels to be used on the corrugator
- Working to very high standards, achieving production targets whilst ensuring excellent quality of finished product
- Fault finding, problem solving and curing running problems
- Communicate problems clearly to maintenance team and assist with repairs to the machine
- Cleaning and maintaining the machine
- Read and interpret machine running program and adjust as needed
- Assist other operators with their duties as and when required
- Carry out quality checks to ensure standards of finished products are met
- Ensure safe working environment by adhering to site health and safety procedures
- Ensure working area is kept clean and tidy, in adherence to site housekeeping standards.
The person:

- Previous machine operating experience - corrugator or packaging industry beneficial
- Attention to detail
- IT literate
- Flexible with working hours and willing to work overtime
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

**Benefits**:

- Temp to perm opportunity (permanent employment after successful completion of 12 weeks)

Pay:

- £20,500 to be reviewed upon completion of probationary period
Working hours:

- Rotating 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends.
- Days - 06:00 - 14:00
- Nights - 22:00 - 06:00
- Afters - 14:00 - 22:00
- Reasonable amount of overtime will be required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £20,500.00 per year
