Easily commutable from Sheffield, Dronfield, Chesterfield etc., Longshaw is nestled on the edge of the glorious Peak District. Our beautiful brand new, extended cafe opened in March 2021 after significant investment due to increasing visitor numbers. Thekitchen team has grown and we're looking to add a Cook to the team.
We work to a centralised core menu, and there is plenty of creative opportunity to develop local dishes, particularly based around the produce from our kitchen garden. We have approx 220 covers, so you should enjoy the buzz of working in a busy kitchen,but with the benefit of knowing we truly look after our people.

What you'll be doing You’ll enjoy preparing food from scratch using fresh/seasonal ingredients and will be confident with creating bakes, making, soups, stews, sausage rolls and preparing & presenting food to order served directly to the customers over busy lunchtime periods.
You won’t be required to work nights, split shifts and will be off on Christmas Day as the property is fully closed to the public.
You’ll receive a bespoke induction on appointment - and further professional training & development opportunities are available.
