**Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant (TA) Cardiff** **Primary position, KS1 KS2** **Weekly pay** Are you - Are you looking to gain paid experience in education? - Are you enthusiastic about helping children? - Are you a fluent Welsh speaker? If the answer to the above questions is yes then we may have the ideal role for you. At Academics, we are currently recruiting for a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to work in a Cardiff primary school. The role itself will be to support the teacher indelivering the lesson's objectives, working in small groups and 1:1 and be a role model to all pupils. The role is initially until Easter but likely to be until the end of the year. You will also be required to provide feedback to pupils and report any safeguarding concerns to the school's safeguarding lead. Your working hours are, Monday to Friday from 8am to 3:30pm with weekly pay of between £350 and £425 **The essentials** - Fluent in Welsh (essential) - An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS Update Service (desirable) - Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) - Two recent and professional references - An Undergraduate Degree (desirable) - Experience of working in education (desirable, but not essential) **What to expect from Academics** - Full compliance with Agency Worker Regulation (AWR) - Online, hassle free time sheets - Friendly and honest - Awarded the Recruitment and Employment Confederation "Gold Standard"
