A SEN school located in Bedford, Bedfordshire is interested in securing a Interim Head Teacher starting Immediately**.**

As a Interim Headteacher you will provide professional vision and leadership for the school which secures its success and improvement, ensuring high quality education for all its pupils

**About the school and Interim Headteacher contract**:

- A Middle size school with high aspirations
- An Ofsted rated 'good' SEN school
- Joining a supportive SLT team
- Department with a collaborative approach to planning, delivery and assessment
- Supportive yet high energy atmosphere
- This is a full time position including planning and marking

- Interviewing ASAP

**The right Interim Headteacher will Need to hold and be**:

- Hold a BA and PGCE
- Confident with teaching GCSE and A Levels
- Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
- Experience of managing a staff team & managing staff rotas

**The successful Interim Headteacher will have the following**: *Exceptional degree and GCSEs
*UK classroom teaching experience
*Eligibility to work in the UK
*Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
*A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
*Salary paid to scale - **teachers' pay scale MPS or UPS1 dependent on experience**

**Some of the Duties of the Interim Headteacher will Include**:

- Deploying and managing all teaching and non-teaching staff of the school and allocating particular duties.
- Supporting middle and senior leadership of the school.
- Ensuring that improvements in the curriculum are a priority for all pupils including those with SEN.
- Ensuring that teachers at the school receive information they need to carry out their professional duties effectively
