**Programme Manager**
My client are a nationally recognised financial services business who are known for being one of the UK's best places to work. They are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join the Business Change team as result of continued growth.
The main purpose of the Programme Manager role is to lead, control and manage strategic programmes or more complex projects through the full project lifecycle - from definition to transition into BAU.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Define programmes and complex projects including scope, deliverables, roles and responsibilities and ensure they are clear, agreed and communicated to all key stakeholders.
- Plan, track, report on and lead programme activity in line with the Change Framework to ensure that stakeholders, dependencies, cost, quality and time are managed within agreed parameters.
- Design and lead the programme team ensuring the appropriate skills and behaviours are in place to enable project delivery in an efficient and cost-effective way.
- Source, procure and manage third party suppliers and services in liaison with Procurement, IT, Legal and Finance departments in accordance with standards, policies and agreements as required by the project.
- Manage and report on progress, risks and issues in line with Risk Policy and Change Framework to protect the programme deliverables and benefits defined in the Business Case.
- Plan, deliver and evaluate communications and key messages to ensure the effective flow of information to project team members and stakeholders.
- Lead and develop direct reports and build effective talent and succession plans to drive high performance and ensure the effective delivery of programmes and projects.
**Key Skills and Experience required**:
- Experience in a similar Programme Manager role in a busy Change environment.
- Experience of successfully delivering programmes based upon time, cost and quality criteria.
- Experience of establishing effective relationships with and influencing stakeholders.
- Excellent knowledge of project and programme management best practice, including techniques for planning, monitoring and control.
- Experience of leading and managing a diverse programme team.
- A recognised qualification including; Prince 2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes or Change Management is highly desirable.
This is a hybrid role with good scope to work from home although you will ideally be Midlands based and happy to commute to my clients head office in Warwickshire.
The salary on offer is £70,000 - £80,000 dependant on experience. In addition to this there is an industry leading bonus scheme plus a comprehensive benefits package.
