Demand Planner

Are you from a Logistics or Planning environment/background? Our client based in South Normantonare looking to hire a Demand Planner. You will be managing the availability of products & forecasting material requirements in line with the demand pattern.

**To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials**:

- Current or recent experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
- Strong SAP knowledge
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices

**Within this position, you’ll also be**:

- Managing availability of products effectively
- Correctly placing purchase orders within necessary lead times to ensure material availability
- Forecasting & managing material requirements in line with the demand pattern
- Placing distribution orders in good time
- Ensuring quality issues are managed appropriately
- Optimising & managing stock, observing appropriate financial targets and processes
- Maintaining SAP/EPS systems with appropriate planning & stock parameters by material includingstock management

**Salary & Working Hours**

Salary is £29,000 per annum

Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm
