**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and customer service will enhance the overall experience of our regulars making each visit memorable.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, to complement beverage offerings.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced till.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Uphold health and safety regulations within the café environment.

**Skills**
- Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions and managing cash.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- A willingness to help customers with inquiries or special requests to enhance their experience.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
