Target Healthcare supply generic, branded and unlicensed medicines to pharmacies, doctors, hospitals, and buying groups throughout the UK and internationally.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a **Dispensing Assistant** to ensure efficient and safe operation of Target Pharmacy.

As a Dispensing assistant, your repsonsibilities will include, although will not be limited to:

- Dispenses prescription medication and other medical products to patients under the direction of the pharmacist.
- Performs administrative duties such as processing prescriptions, answering the phone, taking payments, and restocking pharmacy.
- Organises and maintains records of patient information in electronic format.
- Assists with other administrative duties related to the sale and supply of medicines.
- Prepares billing and shipping information for medications.
- Takes stock checks of the pharmacy medications.
- Liaises with healthcare professionals and patients regarding prescription information.
- Observes and complies with company Health and Safety Policies and company standard operating procedures.

**To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate**:

- Have completed or is undertaking dispensing assistant training.

This role is a part time, permanent position approximately 25 hours per week.
