**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and addressing any queries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, assisting with stock management as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow between the bar and dining areas.
- Uphold responsible serving practices, checking identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a bartending or restaurant role is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- A solid understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to beverage preparation is advantageous.
- A passion for bartending, with the ability to create enjoyable experiences for guests through excellent service.
- At Liverpool Gin Distillery, we produce our very own Liverpool Organic Gin on-site in a custom-built 600ltr copper still. It is here where we offer visitors of our wonderful City the opportunity to see our very own distillers in action, whilst relaxing and enjoying a refreshing drink at our wonderful bar and dark spirits room._

Whilst working behind the bar will be your main role we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to provide an excellent guest experience as a Gin Lab Experience Hosts.

Ordering and controlling stock for the labs; alcohol, bottles, botanicals, duty stamps, dry goods
Maintaining records for HMRC including; alcohol in and out, duty stamps
Delivering a wide range of hosting experiences including the history of gin, background of Halewood Artisanal Spirits and process of creating gin
Looking after high profile clients, private labs and private orders of custom Gins
Maintaining high standards of organisation and cleanliness within the labs; cleaning rota’s
Motivation to improve guest experience; implementing new botanicals, giving customers a reason to return and rebook/reorder

Driving sales and bookings; thinking outside the box to increase bookings, liaising with local businesses and corporate clients for networking and team building events and potential collaborations.
- Experience of event planning and delivery
- Knowledge of Artisanal Spirits, or a general interest and keenness to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Someone who can hit the ground running, and make the role their own.
- Ability to work on own merit
- Creative and innovative mind-set.

Working patterns are various to fit the needs of the business, including evening and weekend work.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
