This is new post developed to support the CAMHS Liaison Services within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a highly skilled and specialist service, where the clinicians are dedicated to provide excellent quality and evidence based care.

As the Operational Lead for the CAMHS Liaison Team, you will be required to provide excellent leadership, ensure quality care for young people and adults, and have an excellent working knowledge of procedure and policy relevant to the position.

The Operational Lead role can be challenging emotionally, and there can be tight deadlines to meet.

The successful applicant will be able to complete investigations and process complaints/QIPS.

You will be in charge of a budget for the teams and work closely with the CAMHS Liaison Clinical Leads and Service Manager to ensure the best care is provided to those accessing CAMHS Liaison Psychiatry.

The post holder will need to have excellent managerial and leadership skills with a good understanding of the clinical needs of children, young people and adults requiring mental health and eating disorder support.

To lead and manage the day-to-day operations and performance of the Community CAMHS Liaison Team to enhance the mental and emotional well-being of children, young people and adults within Nottinghamshire.

Working in collaboration with the senior leadership team, the post holder will be responsible for the leadership and management of the teams driving towards better mental health outcomes for children, young people and adults with a significant eating disorder. The post holder will provide and oversee managerial supervision and support the multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high quality and safe patient centred care.

The post holder will develop innovative new ways of working with other providers to enhance improved working practices and relationships across healthcare in order to meet strategic objectives, organisational requirements and evidence based practice developments with a focus upon children, young peoples and adults eating disorder treatment provision
