We're looking for a talented and hands on Finance Manager to work for an amazing team in Ripon

**The Role**:
In the Finance Manager role you'll be primarily responsible for supporting the Senior Finance Manager in managing a specialist team within financial accounting.

You'll report to the Senior Finance Manager and will be tasked with the following;
- Managing a team of up to 3 and mentor staff
- Managing direct reports to meet deadlines
- Identify process improvements across the department
- Ensuring the financial controls framework is operating efficiently
- Take owner ship of finance business partnering between HR and the accounting teams
You'll also need experience of:

- Delivering compliance of internal and external accounting policies
- Team management
- Reporting complex technical data for stakeholders
- Business partnering

In addition, you'll need the following:

- An accounting qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 1-3 years PQE
- Excellent time management skills
- Good analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and be adaptable

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- Able to travel to the Ripon office a few days a week
- Able to work autonomously whilst being a productive member of a team
- Organised and detailed in your approach to work
