About the team:
We have an exciting opportunity for a **Group Head of Procurement & Vendor Management, **to ensure that all risks associated with third party usage, management, sourcing and procurement requirements are appropriately developed, identified & managed and ensure compliance to the Group Vendor Management and Outsourcing policy, IntraGroup Policy and Procurement and Tender standards.
The role reports into the Chief Control Officer and will be responsible for a multi-site teams based in Chatham, Wolverhampton and India with 2 direct reports. The role has the flexibility to be based from Wolverhampton, Chatham or London with a requirement for travel between offices and some third party sites.

What you will be doing:
As **Group Head of Procurement & Vendor Management **you will** **provide a robust Procurement and Vendor Management & TPRM Governance framework to meet OSB’s strategic objectives from a Commercial and Operational & Risk perspective across all 1st line functions to ensure all required due diligence and ongoing risk assessments are conducted**. **Using your previous experience of stakeholder management and engagement you will provide regular reports and presentations to senior management, committees and Regulators.***
- You will also be responsible for:
- Design, implement and continually enhance the business policies & frameworks for the management of operational risk associated with Procurement, Third Party Risk Management and the Outsourcing of Material & Critical third-party services and various intragroup arrangements
- Develop approach to incorporate ESG & new technology and ways of working considerations into the overall vendor management and outsourcing framework
- Be involved in the shaping of new third-party relationships and technology to support the 5 year digital and customer self-serve programme.
- Develop and own a key third party compliance and oversight risk relationship profiling system/tools
- Provide guidance for the business when conducting tenders and requests for information to ensure robust due diligence and cost analysis
- Conduct policy and procedure reviews to assess effectiveness and compliance ensuring activities are aligned with OSB Corporate Responsibilities strategy and Business risk appetite
- Conduct risk assessments and governance for all processes and services being considered for Intragroup activity ensuring the risk profile and transition plan is effective and the risk profile is continually being reviewed and aligned to the agreed contractual term
- Ensure that RFP processes are run effectively and support modernisation project
In return for your commitment:
We offer a base salary dependent on experience and location between £75,000 - £100,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
- Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 25%

- Strong track record in Vendor Management and Intragroup Oversight and Compliance including RCSA management
- Strong experience in cost modelling, procurement negotiations and conducting tenders (RFQ/RFP) across a range of categories
