Self-employed Counsellors/psychotherapists

Evolve Counselling is a mental health charity providing affordable counselling and related services to people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and the surrounding counties. We work with individuals who are struggling to access counselling services, ensuring a lack of funds is not a barrier to getting help. We also support local companies that wish to provide counselling services to their employees, as well as offering reflective practice/supervision and workshops.

We are currently looking for experienced counsellors and/or psychotherapists to provide face-to-face, short-term counselling to clients, especially in/around the cities of Cambridge and Peterborough. You will need access to a therapy room.

We would love to hear from you if you are registered with BACP, UKCP, NCPS or equivalent; have a recognised professional counselling/psychotherapy qualification at a minimum of level 4 Diploma; have held that qualification for a minimum of 2 years as well as have accrued at least 450 client hours to date.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our practitioner community on a self-employed basis. Ideally, we would like you to be able to offer a minimum of 3 sessions per week and we pay £20.80 - £26 per counselling session depending on your registration status.

As a self-employed counsellor you will need to have your own insurance, Information Commissioner (ICO) registration and supervisor.
