**Job description**

Due to growth and expansion we are hiring for multiple roles.

Allied Fleet Services are a leading customs clearance agent handling customs declarations for customers throughout Europe. We're looking for a challenge-hungry and self-motivated person that's excited to help the company grow and work at a fast pace. This means thinking outside of the box, going the extra mile and delivering high levels of customer service.

Key responsibilities and duties:

- Involved in the day to day customs clearance activities
- Preparation of customs entries to ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met
- Preparation of other trade documentation and forms required for certain products by authorities.
- Liaising with importers/exporters and others to obtain mandatory information for import and export entries
- Enter data onto specialist customs software
- Deal with all queries quickly and efficiently relating to customs procedures, tariff classifications, duty rates and any other documentation requirements
Essential Criteria:

- GCSE Math & English Grade C or above (or equivelent).
- at least 18 moths to 2 year office experience.
- Flexible with time.
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Strong IT skills especially Microsoft Office 365
- Aptitude to learn new skills
- Interest of the Haulage and customs clearance industry
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn

Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
