**What we are looking for - Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounts Payable**:

- Process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other administrative support necessary to pay the obligations of the Company.
- Purchase Order Matching.
- Liaising with Creditors over incorrect invoicing.
- **Accounts Receivable**:

- Process accounts receivable invoices and manage and record customer payments.
- Manage the aged debt ledger to ensure that all debt is collected within payment terms.
- Monitor and advise of any potential bad debts.
- Ensure cash is correctly allocated to each debtor account.
- **Bank Reconciliations**:

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- **Data Entry and Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including data entry of financial transactions into accounting software.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- **Financial Analysis**:

- Support the finance team in conducting financial analysis and preparing reports as required.
- **Compliance and Audit**:

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- **Administrative Support**:

- Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including filing, correspondence, and other admin tasks as needed.

**Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required**:
**Knowledge**:

- Basic knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of NetSuite is desirable.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounting Assistant, or similar role.
- Experience with payroll processing and bank reconciliations.

**Skills**:

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct financial analysis.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant educational background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA) are an advantage but not mandatory.

**Benefits**:
