**Scope/Purpose of role**:
Reporting to the Warehouse Team leader / Advanced Operator, Warehouse workers perform an array of functions that might include accepting and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Workers are required to lift heavy boxes, walk or stand for most of the shift, and wear protective gear and steel-toed shoes. Some warehouse workers will have to operate forklifts on some occasions. All of the above contributes towards supplying the customer with a 100% service level.

**Key Result Areas**:

- Unload Packaging materials from truck, update stock systems. Move materials to warehouse storage using different types on MHE.
- Ensure Goods inwards documents are completed and filed correctly for every intake.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, pick, label, & store).
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery to Production according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label & load).
- Maintain a pick accuracy of 99.98%.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations set by the company.
- Responsible for quality control. Report damaged products & damaged raw material to Department Team leader.
- Stage product for loading. Load product onto truck.
- Ensure all stock product is counted, checked and recorded on internal stock control system.
- Ensure accurate recording and labelling for all product received.
- Security and rotation for all stock.
- Maintain efficient warehousing systems including a clean, well maintained area at all times.
- Load, move, stack, and stage goods using different types of MHE.
- Keep equipment clean & operational by following operating instructions & reporting breakdowns, etc.
- Carrying out all other general warehouse duties.

**Key Performance Indicator**:

- Time Keeping & Attendance.
- Overall performance across all warehouse functions.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements to facilitate a safe working method and environment for all other staff.
- Report all accidents & near misses to the departments Management, Supervisor or the Health & Safety Representative.
- Each employee has a duty of care to their fellow employees and as such must take all reasonable precautions not to endanger the health of others. Each employee must conduct themselves within the company guidelines as set out by management generally with respect to individual tasks.
- Work to the departments 5s rules and maintain 5s standards at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Full training will be given.

**Skills**:

- Good communication both verbal and written.
- Be confident in delivering effective communication to daily contacts.
- Take ownership and accountability to achieve the required standards.
- Positive demeanour and can do attitude.
- Meet deadlines by working with colleagues and teams across the business.

**Experience**
- Experience with Electric Pallet Truck, Electric Pallet Stacker Licence.
- Counter Balance Licence (desirable).
- Any other duties as directed by Supervisor or Management team.
