The duties of the Sales Representative include but are not limited to:

- Serving Customers and Reporting
- Visit customers as per call schedules
- Meet set sales budget
- Place re-orders with individual retailers as required to optimise stock levels
- Recommend new line opportunities; present, offer, sell and up-sell product range to channel in covered area
- Solicit additional stock orders where opportunities exist
- Attend to fixtures and maintain presentation standards to requirements
- Fill fixtures as required with reserve stocks from stockroom and capping
- Check date codes and rotate stock as required
- Identify out-of-stocks and follow up
- Check quality and appearance of stocks to ensure saleability and report discrepancies that may be considered a product risk
- Check and report missing descriptive, flag tickets and store POS
- Check store range compliance against applicable layout profiles
- Build layouts and relay stores as required
- Remove and credit stock where applicable
- Maintain effective business relationships with store managers/owners
- Report competitive new lines or activities being launched
- Report achievements
- Follow specified safety procedures
- Promotional Activity
- Check monthly promotional program tie-up against master file
- Build and ticket display as required
- Use product knowledge to seek in-store promotional activities within available retail space
- Acquiring New Business
- Open new accounts and initiate contact with grocery retail shops
- Follow up potential customers and retain active customers
- Other duties are required from time to time

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gateshead, NE11 9SY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
