Yard Driver

Due to continued growth our busy Newcastle Depot are looking for a General labourer yard operative / Relief Driver 3.5t vehicle.

Counterbalance Forklift Truck Certificate would be highly desirable, but not essential.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times
- Assist with Order Picking
- Assist with Loading & Unloading of Vehicles
- Drive a company provided vehicle when required, to deliver to / collect from our customers sites, handball loading / offloading may be required at times.
- General housekeeping around depot.
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
- This role is customer facing and you must be polite and amiable.
- You must be a team player but also able to work alone, and adapt to company and our customer’s needs.

**Other Information**
- Full PPE provided
- 40 hours per week + Overtime as required by the company.
- 07.00hrs - 16.00hrs Monday - Friday
- Early start and/or later finish may be required depending on workload.
- £11.00 p/h + Overtime at enhanced rates after 40hrs
- 28 Days paid holiday inc Bank Hols
