Our client, a FTSE50 blue chip with a strong track record, and an exciting future, are currently seeking a Deputy Head of Internal Audit, EMEA. The desired individual will aid in the Audit department’s strategic direction and the overall enhancement of internalaudit practices across their Group, providing company assurance and advice on risk mitigation.

The team comprises of several Auditors and a Senior Management layer, reporting into you. You will report into the head of region. You may also work with the ICFR testing team, the IT audit team, programme assurance & data analytics, and co-sourced specialists.Together, their audit work covers operating companies in Europe, and some assignments at a global level. This role will consist of up to 25% travel across these regions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing, and delivering multiple internal audits at operating companies across the Group.
- Review files to provide a quality audit.
- Utilising your experience to ensure issues are identified throughout the audit cycle.
- Contributing to assurance engagements over company-wide risks.
- Developing and supporting Senior Managers and team members.
- Reporting to and assisting the head of region.
- Building relationships with senior staff and stakeholders throughout subsidiary companies.

**Skills**:

- Audit experience, generally Accounting qualified, but you may have alternative operational experience
- Line management responsibility within previous roles
- Flexibility to travel up to 25% of the time across Europe
- Accounting competency
- Media sector exposure
