**Position**: Self-Employed Courier

**Location**: York

As a self-employed courier, you will be responsible for delivering parcels within a small, designated area in York. You will be handling 70-200 parcels per day, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

**Key Details**:

- **Working Days**: Monday to Saturday
- **Earnings**: Paid per parcel - the faster and more efficiently you deliver, the more you earn per hour. For a permanent route you will be paid 65p per parcel (higher than industry average for similar routes.) Most drivers can deliver between 30-40 parcels an hour after just a few weeks
- **Vehicle Requirement**: You must have a large car or a van to accommodate the daily parcel volume.
- **Delivery Area**: You will deliver in the same area every day from Monday to Saturday. This is a full time role
- **Collection and Delivery Window**: Parcels must be collected between 9-11 am and delivered by 9 pm. Deliveries to businesses and schools must be completed by 5 pm.

**Requirements**:

- Reliable and committed, with strong time-management skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of parcels and maintain delivery standards.
- A large car or van is essential for this role
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of problem-solving on the go.

**Training**:

- Paid initial training is provided to get you up to speed, including getting used to the app and understanding the job requirements. The more you work, the quicker you get, and the more you earn as your efficiency improves. We aim to get you into your long term permanent route within 2-3 weeks.
