**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic **Trainee Retail Sales Representative** to join our direct marketing team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to kickstart their career in sales, marketing, and customer relations. You will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of retail sales and promotions, learning to effectively represent our clients, drive brand awareness, and exceed sales targets in retail environments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the setup and execution of retail promotional campaigns within stores and other retail spaces.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product knowledge and answering questions.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to drive customer interest and sales.
- Actively promote and upsell products to customers, helping them find the best solutions to meet their needs.
- Build rapport with customers and encourage repeat business by delivering exceptional service.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and any trends observed during promotional activities.
- Support senior team members in managing product displays and ensuring they align with client guidelines.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets, striving to achieve and exceed set goals.
- Continuously learn and develop sales techniques and product knowledge to improve personal performance.

**Requirements**:

- A strong interest in sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is beneficial, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
