The Extra Care Charitable Trust** **are now recruiting** Care Assistants **to join the well-established care team at **Humber Court based** in **Coventry.**

There couldn’t be a more exciting time to be joining **Extracare Charitable Trust** as we take Independent Living for the over 55’s to the next level. You will be welcomed as a **Care Assistant** into a fully supportive team, working in our luxurious retirement village to deliver our in-house domiciliary care services to our residents. **No more travelling**

**Hours: 20 hours per week nights and Relief opportunities**

**Salary: £10.20**

As a** Care Assistant, **you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

- Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities,
- Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and wellbeing of our residents
- Encourage independence and selfbelief
- Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.

**Person Specification**
- Ideally qualified at Level 2, or equivalent, or hold the Care certificate with relevant transferable experience
- Personable, an effective communicator and a team player
- Passionate about delivering a quality care service
- Flexible with hours.

Humber Court consists of 46 one bedroom apartments for people over 55. Each apartment has a living room, kitchen and shower room. Facilities on site include: Lounge, IT facilities, Hairdressers, Landscaped Garden, Restaurant and Well-being Room. The Scheme also has communal parking.
