An opportunity has arisen for a varied and interesting role helping to select, deliver and merchandise greeting cards to a variety of retail outlets in Stirling and surrounding areas.
Working in partnership with both our pick/packer preparing orders at the warehouse (Springkerse Ind. Estate), and our local Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will be the primary merchandiser and customer contact for delivering and maintaining our varied quality product in displays across a portfolio of stores.
- **No cold calling or direct selling is involved as stores are established existing customers.**:
- **Full training and ongoing support will be provided.**
**The role involves**:
- Visiting local retailers, typically convenience stores and petrol forecourts by van (company provided), each day working to a pre-prepared route.
- Tidying & filling greeting card displays and associated ancillary product such as gift bags and wrap.
- Processing paperwork and raising invoices via iPad (supplied) to relevant store personnel.
- Liaising with picker/packer to ensure required orders are prepared in time for next day’s schedule.
- Regular visits to warehouse based at Springkerse Ind. Estate for replenishment and collection of orders.
- Completion of weekly summary paperwork for submission to RSM.
- Weekly banking.
- Assisting with weekly Head Office delivery into warehouse.
**For this role you will need to**:
- Hold a full driving license (essential).
- Have a reliable & conscientious work ethic.
- Be flexible around working times during peak seasonal periods (Mon-Fri only).
- Have initiative & the ability to work on your own.
- Be confident & personable.
This is an active role and lifting boxes of stock will be required on a daily basis
