**What you can expect**:
The role is a trainee position within the Finance Dept supporting the Management Accountant with the monthly management accounts. You will also be expected to assist with some transaction processing and work with the non-finance team from time to time

**What is expected from you**:
Accounts preparation
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts for all departments.
Assist with the review and interpretation of financial results, identifying significant variances or areas of concern.
Work with the Management Accountant to develop reports.
Accounts processing
To assist as required with processing of sales and purchase transactions, monthly reconciling, prepare intercompany journals and process other journals.
Budgets and forecasts
Work with the management accountant with the annual budget process for YMCA England & Wales;
Any other duties as requested by the Management Accountant, within the capabilities of the Trainee Accountant.
