Environment and Quality Manager who will improve the H&S culture within the
Management System. The HSEQ Manager is to execute technical and functional
responsibilities related to health, safety and environmental matters across the
estate and is responsible for the implementation of company policies,
procedures and methods ensuring safe practice as well as overall quality. The
HSEQ Manager will use their work and educational experience to increase
knowledge and improve learning and expertise with the overall objective of protecting
team members, owners, guests and the environment
as well as driving quality across the estate.

**What Will You Do**
management and operations about HSEQ related performance, issues and
status of the HSEQ management system in regard to effectiveness and
compliance. Also advise and plan for upcoming/future legislative changes
and emerging best practice to protect and benefit the business and its
stakeholders.
- Undertake quality, environmental, health and safety and food safety
planning, including the setting of policies, processes, goals and priorities
whilst establishing adequate systems for quality and compliance management
- Lead the development and implementation of health, food and
environmental safety systems within Haulfryn
- Manage and coordinate
Health & Safety reporting and meetings and drive key national actions
- Manages and reviews work site hazard assessments,
identifies unsafe acts/conditions or unsafe behaviours, provides support,
guidance and recommendations for corrective action to the management and
operations team
- Manage and coordinate internal
and third party audits and inspections, recommend, facilitate and follows
up on corrective actions
- Assisting site
management with the continuous improvement of risk assessments, safe
systems of work and accident investigation.
- Management of site
action plans following audits and accidents / incidents. Provide expertise
for incident investigations, case management, near misses, environmental and
/ or equipment damage.
- Work with HR on third party Occupational
Health provision and support vocational rehabilitation for employees where
required.
- Liaise and co-ordinate visits by our group insurers
for accident investigation and defence purposes and support management and act
as liaison/point of contact for personal injury claims.
**What Will You Bring**
- Minimum 5 years’ practical experience in a
HSEQ environment developing and implementing HSEQ programs.
- NEBOSH
Diploma
- IEMA
certificate in Environmental Management, preferably NEBOSH/NCRQ level 6.
- Proactive
and passionate approach to HSEQ matters.
- Ideally you will have a food safety
experience qualified in or working towards ISO 45001, 14001 and MCERTS.
- Expert knowledge of
current HSE & Quality legislative requirements
- All aspects of H&S Training to varying groups and audiences through
a variety of different mediums.
- Ideally ITOL qualified
- Knowledge of ISO14001,
ISO9001 and/or facilities useful
- Minimum certificate
level environmental qualification
- Experience of running multi-site Health and Safety
Committees
- Proven track record of achievement of HSE management systems
policy to adapt to the audience
- Able to demonstrate achievement of continuous improvement in the
workplace
- Good
organisational /communication skills.
- Ability to
prioritise, work to tight deadlines
- Ability to
establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels
- Self-motivated
and able to motivate others
- Knowledge of general business software and
Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Proven analytical skills with
experience in providing H&S dashboards and reports to management up to
board level
- Ensures all knowledge and skills are
regularly updated (in accordance with time frames) and refreshed to ensure good
practice and maintain a good legal standards to support the business in all
aspects of Health and Safety, Welfare & Fire Regulations
