The Despatch Forklift Driver/Customer Order Picker is responsible order picking finished product for despatch to our customers, this will involve both manual handling to pick the orders as well as operating a forklift truck, using handheld scanners and general housekeeping.
Our Forklift Truck Driver/Order Picker is responsible for:
- Service production lines by use of forklift truck and take away finished product and store safely and correctly in the despatch fridge area.
- Load product to vehicles as per loading lines.
- Pick all daily customer orders.
- Use a daily customer pick sheet manifest.
- Pick all customer orders with a scanner.
- Pick all stock in correct date rotation for outload.
**About The Role**
**HOURS OF WORK & RATE OF PAY**
- ** 8am-8pm**:
- ** 7 days over 14 days**
**Rate of Pay**
**£12.96 per hour**
**LOCATION**
251 Stirling Road, Riggend, Airdrie, ML6 7SP
**Required Criteria**
- Ability to record accurate load information
- Ability to count accurately
- Ability to work independently and carry out tasks with little supervision
- Attention to detail
- Forklift/Counterbalance Licence, Pallet Truck Licence
- Experience of forklift truck / pallet truck driving in fast moving environment
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good Communication Skills
**Desired Criteria**
- Experience working within a similar environment
**Skills Needed**
Data Entry and Basic Computer Skills, Ability to Identify and Anticipate needs, Forklift handling
