There are also snacks, beer and pizza available every Friday for afternoon meetings, so that everyone can end their week on a high **Role** As a Software Engineer, you will work as part of an Agile team on cutting-edge Microservices architecture, working on brand new products, as well as adding features to new/existing products, while having the opportunity to use TypeScript/Express/AWS Lambdas,Redshift, MySQL, MongoDB and Micro-frontends built on React. You will take responsibility for the entirety of the solutions development cycle, from design to deployment, using your exceptional problem solving and technical capability to deliver those solutionsto the business' user base. Some of your key responsibilities will be as follows: - Design, develop, test and operate the newest generation of SaaS solutions. - Work closely with end users, both internal and external, to create highly effective solutions. - Involvement and contribution to the continuous improvement of the software team. **Competencies**: - Exceptional problem solving and technical capabilities. - Positive "can do" attitude with excellent communication skills. - Intelligent and proactive approach any work assigned. - Great team player **Technical skills**: - 2+ years' experience developing software solutions with some of the following: Node/TypeScript, Express, React - Track record of delivering quality software solutions - Experience building web-services/microservices. **Desirable**: - Experience working with AWS or other cloud technologies. - Knowledge of Lambda, EC2, spot instances and containers. **Salary & Benefits** The Software Engineer will receive a salary of £45,000 - £60,000, plus excellent benefits including hybrid working (3 days in the office in Oxford, flexibility with days/hours provided), as well as an annual bonus of up to 10% based on performance.
