**Senior Network Engineer
- NetDevOps, Automation, VMware, NSX, VRA, Python, Ansible, Cloud, Transformation**

A tier one investment house is seeking a NetDevOps Engineer who can implement, design and support new processes into the Cloud and automate existing and new solutions.

The NetDevOps Engineer will work as part of a globally distributed team to support development and engineering activities on the VMware NSX platform.

**Essential Skills**:
The following technical expertise is sought, transferable skills in other areas of network and infrastructure automation or public cloud automation will also be strongly considered in place of the NSX experience:

- Designing, building and automating NSX-V and/or NSX-T networking
- Designing, building and automating ESXI
- Automating using VRA/O and YAML
- Creating and deploying CloudFormation templates.
- Automating using other scripting/automation languages such as Python, Ansible and Terraform is transferrable and beneficial to the role
- AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure automation is also transferrable
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

**Desirable Skills**:

- VCP/VCAP certified
- Experience of VMC in AWS or Azure
- VCDX certified
- Experience with AVI load balancers
- Micro-segmentation using Distributed Firewall or other technologies is an advantage or similar technologies
- AWS Infrastructure design and automation experience
- Experience of GIT, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools and Agile working practices is a benefit
- Familiarity with at least one configuration management tool such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible

Hybrid working one day in the office per week ideally
