Bowling Highfield was established in 2018 following the merger of 2 well established local GP practices. Now with 5 GP Partners the practice offers a full range of primary care medical services to over 14,500 patients in the South Bradford area across 2 locations.

The Role: We are looking for a well organised, enthusiastic and confident Finance Assistant to join our team as we continue to expand.

Hours: Part time, 25 hours per week.

**Salary**: £23,000 to £25,000 per annum (Full Time Equivalent)

The role works to support the Doctors, Nurses, Practice Manager and Finance Manager to provide an effective and efficient service. It is essential that you display good interpersonal skills, be computer literate and be able to prioritise your workload effectively. You should also be dedicated to getting everything right first time for our patients and be passionate about accuracy and attention to detail. The role will also work within the Trust Primary Care network providing assistance for the wider training network across Bradford.

Working directly for the Finance Manager, we are looking for you to have experience of working in a financial environment and should be able to work on your own initiative, be very organised and support colleagues when required.

As Finance Assistant you will be primarily responsible for:

- invoicing and reconciling payments
- processing expenses
- account reconciliations
- support the month end process
- assisting in compiling payroll
- carrying out diverse administration tasks required to support the smooth running of the Finance function

We need some experience of working with Accounts packages and payroll systems but can provide training to support the specific systems used at BHMP.
- Any level of accountancy qualification is preferred
- Must have advanced knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word

We work across 2 site locations approximately 1 mile apart so there is an expectation you travel between locations as and when required. This is a hybrid role after some initial training with remote working and dedicated days spent working from the Practice.
