We are looking to appoint a Head Cleaner (HC), who will be the first point of contact for our new in-house cleaning team. This is a new position to the group and we will be looking to further hire between 4-5 cleaners within the cleaning team.The HC will ensure that everything runs smoothly from one day to the next, while meeting tenant and company expectations.The role requires an enthusiastic individual to manage time and teams effectively, offering support to the Operations department and the Property Management team. This role has a real impact on the business as our houses need to be regularly maintained to their highest standards and your team will be the eyes and ears for the department, providing regular feedback to the property management team, ensuring high standards are maintained. Attention to detail is key so that standards are not just upheld but enhanced. You will need passionate leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels whilst ensuring the valuing of your team and placing our tenants at the heart of what you do.

**Principal responsibilities**:

- The Head Cleaner will be required to recruit their own cleaning team and manage their day to day diary, including scheduling of the cleans and ensuring the houses are aware, making sure the standard of the cleans are satisfactory and that the cleaners have everything they need to action their roles efficiently.
- Team recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing performance management of all cleaning team members.
- Promoting a safe working environment ensuring staff are all up to date on health and safety procedures,
- Be responsible for maintaining a small portfolio of properties to clean themselves.
- Being accountable to ensure any repairs or house issues are reported to the property management team
- Delivery of excellent customer service by keeping all tenants updated and informed regarding house visit dates and any inspections that are being undertaken by the team.
- Monitoring the quality of any cleaners work and first line of contact for complaints from tenants in regards to house cleaning issues and managing to satisfaction resolution.
- Ideally 5 years’ experience within cleaning services and have a proven track record in a leadership role,
- Be self-motivated, diligent, and demonstrate leadership skills with a proactive approach,
- Hold a Valid UK Driving license and have their own vehicle (not essential),
- Experienced with using Outlook, Microsoft office,
- Ability to manage their own workload and work independently whilst leading a team,
- Experience working within a property company,

**Salary**: £12.08-£15.00 per hour
