**EXPERIENCED CUSTOMS AGENT ROLE**

**The Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an **experienced Customs Agent** to join the **Allied Fleet Services team** based in Armagh. Within this role, you will be responsible for preparing, checking, and processing all relevant customs clearances to ensure all shipments meet the applicable laws and procedures to facilitate the timely and cost-eective import of goods.

Chase and complete customs entries clearance documents from customers, prior to cargo arrival or departure in complaince with customs law.

Being able to advise customer of the type of clearance they require, import, export,

Transit, CHED etc.

Provide a high level of customer service, and deal with all queries quickly and efficiently as well as provide advice and guidance on procedures.

Liaise with internal departments on arranging haulage and other requirements.

Assist with all enquiries & bookings that the business provides.

Other duties will include, filing, data entry, assisting with training and reporting.

**Ideal Experiences / Qualifications / Capabilities**:
**At least 1 year of customs clearance experience**

Experience or exposure to customs clearance through multiple systems required.

Understanding of customs clearance required.

Customer service oriented.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Conscientious, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Team player with a willing and flexible approach to work.

Able to learn quickly and multi-task.

Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Good MS Oce skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Educated to at least GCSE level with grade A-C in Maths and English required.
