**HR Employment is looking for a Material Controller to join our client team.**

Your role as **Materials Controller** is an essential role within the Construction department. You will assist the Site Management team in ensuring all the materials required are supplied to the site on time and are in correct amounts to enable build programmes to be met on time and in budget, whilst also carefully managing stock levels to minimise wastage.

**You will be expected to**:

- Monitor production programmes in relation to stock and advise the Site Manager of potential shortages.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery arrangements.
- Reconciliation of Proof of Delivery paperwork.
- Checking the quality and quantity of material delivered to site.
- Follow up and chase any outstanding orders.
- Monitor build progress with the site teams to ensure that the materials due in are still required by the dates requested.
- Check, maintain orderly and tidy material storage areas.
- Have a strong knowledge of building materials used o site.
- Experience on a new build construction site.
- Site safety awareness.
- Commercial awareness.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
- Computer literate skills are desirable.
- CSCS card required

Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00

**Salary**: £15.00-£18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thornbury, Gloucestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
