**ABOUT US**:
As a leading Ecology industry supplier, Wildcare specialises in providing products and services for surveying protected species such as bats, newts, and dormice. Wildcare proudly supplies a broad customer base in the UK and Europe, from large developers to academics to charities as well as wildlife enthusiasts.
**ROLE SUMMARY**:
As one of Wildcare’s Warehouse Operative, you will ensure the safe receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse goods. Your duties will include, but are not limited to taking delivery of shipments, checking goods for damage or missing items and storing warehouse goods in an organised manner.
**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Picking and packing orders.
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
- Assisting with the unloading of vehicles.
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures.
- Stock counting.
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Purchasing Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment.
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules.
- Assisting with warehouse inventory control.
- Treating stock with care and concern at all times.
- Work efficiently & effectively to meet deadlines, prioritising and managing time and resources accordingly.
- Supporting seasonal production (felt and drain pipe-cutting etc).
- Any other duties that may be required

- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Self-motivated
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Team player
- Ability to multi-task
Desirable:
- Forklift licence
Working Patterns: We would be happy to have full-time (Mon-Fri 08:00 - 17:00), or part-time workers (hours and days can be discussed)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
