Club Steward

Established in 1884, the Faversham Club is a prestigious Private Members Club, in Faversham, Kent, with approx. 500 members. The club has two bars including a function/dining room, a snooker room with two tables and a private meeting room. The club is open daily and various events and competitions are held during the year.

Our current Steward is moving on, which gives a rare opportunity for full time Steward/Manager to look after and manage the day-to-day operation of our club.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to be enthusiastic, friendly and hard-working with the ability to oversee the day-to-day operations of our club in conjunction with the club secretary and committee. You will have excellent organisational and personal skills and will work with the club committee to assist with the club's future growth and development.

Ideally you will have worked in a similar position of responsibility within the hospitality sector or licensed trade and will hold a personal licence.

There is also the opportunity to participate in food provision at the club, so catering experience and relevant hygiene qualifications are desirable.

On site private accommodation is available with this role and comes in the form of a 2 bed flat with a lounge and bathroom.

Pay: £27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
