Our lovely 17-year-old client who has complex physical and learning disabilities, is looking for a Support Worker to join her team. H is non-verbal and uses facial expressions to communicate. She is a happy and loving girl who lives with her family. H has a great sense of humour and loves to spend time with her family and watch films, especially comedies.

**The Role/Client**:

- H, who has complex physical and learning disabilities and requires 24-hour care, is nonverbal with sensory impairments. She wears cochlear implants and has a fully blended diet via gastrostomy which is also the route for her medication. H is a wheelchair user and requires assistance with all activities of daily living including full personal care. H has dystonia and can experience periods of pain and discomfort.
- H enjoys being out and about in the community and you might accompany her on days out.
- You will be supported by H’s Case Manager, Team Leader, her parents, and the wider team.
- You may work alone or with another member of the team.

**About You**:

- You will have a minimum of one years' of experience working in complex care needs and will follow H’s care and therapy plan.
- We are looking for someone who works well in a team and is hard-working, has a great sense of humour like H, is empathetic, and has a strong dedication to caring for others. You will be physically fit and an outgoing person with good communication skills.
- You will be flexible and a good timekeeper.

**Pay**:

- There is a probationary period for this role, however upon successful completion of probation you will be awarded a £500 bonus.
- £17 per hour weekends.

**Hours / Shifts**:
There are Weekday (£15 ph) for this role also advertised separately.

**Weekends**:

- Saturday 08:00 to 20:00 (12 hours)
- Sunday 08:00 to 20:00 (12 hours)
