**Pentonbridge Inn: Receptionist/Host**

32 hrs per week / Wednesday - Sunday

Starting at £10.50 per hour

We are now recruiting for a receptionist/host to join our team at Pentonbridge Inn, an award-winning 3AA rosette and 5 AA gold star restaurant with rooms. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our team.

Purpose of the role:

- First point of contact for our guests
- Accurately processing payments
- Good knowledge of the restaurant offering and menu
- Liaising with other departments including housekeeping, kitchen and front of house to ensure the smooth running of the business
- Hosting duties will be required during breakfast service which will include showing guests to their table and offering tea and coffee
- Additional hosting duties required on Friday and Saturday evening services.
- Reporting to the Reservations Manager

The Person:

- Provide first class customer service at all times in line with AA standards
- Have the ability to work as part of a team, yet work on your own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail essential
- A flexible approach to your working week and hours
- Be highly organised with good communication skills, both face to face and over the phone
- IT skills including use of Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Previous use of booking engines such as Resdairy is not essential but is advantageous
