We have a great opportunity for an **Application Support Lead** to join our Integration Services Centre of Excellence on an initial 12-month FTC.

Working as part of a team of 8 and reporting into our Head of Integration Services, you will be a key member of a collaborative team and be comfortable working autonomously.

We are currently experimenting with a hybrid approach to working. For this role, we anticipate that you would need to come into our Frating office for certain in-person meetings and activities at least once or twice a month for anchor days. We are open to discussing the balance of office-based to remote working through the recruitment process. All interviews will be held virtually.

**To succeed in this role, you will**:

- Be experienced in using various middleware solutions, such as BizTalk, SI and Automic, to create messaging components, orchestrations, Business Rules Engine, Business Activity Monitoring and ESB Toolkit.
- Be experienced in following standard based technology such as SOAP, BPEL, Web Services, MTOM, WCF.
- Have a strong understanding of middleware structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- Be experienced with ESB and SOA design and principles.
- Be experienced in working simultaneously on multiple large and complex projects.
- Have solid technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting middleware systems.
- Be experienced in designing, maintaining and rehearsing middleware disaster and backup recovery plans.
- Have a good understanding and practical experience of software support life cycles.
- Have good Service Management experience, including incident, service or change management.
- Be a strong team player but also able to work independently.
- Have good communication, analytical and problem solving skills. You’ll be confident to use these skills to communicate with a number of key stakeholders within and around the Service Integration Centre of Excellence.

**Salary**: £28,000 - £36,500 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
